Potato Nuggets
Great low fat potato dish for breakfast or a side dish
2 or 3 Russet potatoes
one third cup of nutritional yeast
nutritional yeast is available at health food stores
it is NOT bread baking yeast. It comes in big yellow flakes
1 tsp. Spike seasoning
This too is found at health food stores
One half tsp. black pepper
1 and a half TBS. soy sauce
one quarter tsp sesame oil
Cooking spray
Bake or microwave the potatoes until they are nearly done. You want the potatoes firm. Cut into half inch cubes. Coat nonstick pan with cooking spray. Heat to medium high. Brown the potatoes. Turn heat down, and drizzle soy sauce on the potatoes. Add yeast, Spike, and pepper and toss, coating the potatoes evenly. Cook until golden brown.
